What do you think so far?
Build a Railway
The objective of this game is to see how a suburban rail/metro system will grow or decline over time taking turns amongst members.
To start off, I have built a new line with 5 stations (which will be the maximum per turn) from Gotham to Solake. Now I will give a description of what is happening such as; more people want to commute to Pearson, a crossing over Hipster Harbour is needed, commuters east of Solake want a new line or an extension, passengers from Abutt are declining and so on.
Key points:
Restrictions:
Note: I will continuously update a vector version of the map so its ok if your line goes over some text. At some point we could have a "recession" of some sort and lead to the closure of many lines at once.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask
So this is for the next person:
A crossing across Hipster Harbour is needed. (How you do that is up to you!)

Key points:
- Blue: commercial centres
- Green: dense residential centres
- Red: tourist or leisure areas
- Pink: airport
- Brown: industrial areas (freight lines only, must connect to airport)
- Solid green: nature reserves (cannot build)
- Dotted black line: urban boundary (cannot build beyond this point)
- Non-cloured areas are de facto residential areas/suburban sprawl
- When making a new line, it must use a different colour (freight lines must use black)
- Branches can remain the same colour
Restrictions:
- 2 bridges across Hipster Harbour only (parallel lines count as 1 bridge)
- Cannot build a bridge across Instashock Bay
- As mentioned above, 5 stations is the maximum for building new lines
- Maximum 2 branches
- Cannot demolish more than 3 stations

Re: Build a Railway
This looks fun
So I just need to follow the instructions (esp. the last sentence) and there is no maximun stations?

Re: Build a Railway
There's a 5 station maximum per turn. Just so the game doesn't end so quickly

Re: Build a Railway
People in the east are dying to get the centres connected to the network. Also people wanted a connection to the nearest refuge of the city. There.

Re: Build a Railway
Note: The 5 stations are an extension of the Red Line. Also, can Delton Lake and Swag Park become Red Line instead?
Scenario
The people wants more connectivity in the Capital, with a slight demand for a high speed rail connection to the Swag International Airport.
I've thrown in two choices, so you can make the decision to focus on either one.
Re: Build a Railway
Event:
A high speed suburban rail line (green) was built from Yolo Airport to Gotham along with a second (and final) Instashock Harbour crossing.
The red line was extended to Swag Park but section to Gotham closed and the blue line branch now terminates at Warner Bay.
Scenario:
Residents between Wynaut and Pendall have a rail line but no station at all and they are getting annoyed but they also want an extension from South Pendall.
EDIT: I just noticed you said Swag International Airport, I'll edit that in the next one

Re: Build a Railway
Haha, nvm, you can keep the name Yolo Airport.
Scenario
With the opening of the Airport-City HSR, residents along this corrider now demands for more rail connectivity. At the same time, the Capital stations are getting overwhelmed by passengers, as they struggle to match with the Capital's bus network due to poor rail density in the capital.

Re: Build a Railway
Event: Residents along the Airport-City HSR corridor were neglected in favour of construction of a Circle Line (purple) but was not completed fully.
Scenario: Residents want to take the train to the leisure area in the north (mainland) but there is no rail line.

Scenario
Demands for higher rail connectivity continue to rise along the HSR corridor.
Re: Build a Railway
Event:
5 new stations opened along the HSR corridor.
Scenario:
Construction on the new stations was overbudget and now 3 end stations need to be closed
